Frequently asked questions
Is it necessary to set aside an area inside the shop for the technical cabinet?
With our lifting devices, there is no need for space to house oleodynamic control units and control panels. The motor unit is located inside the lift well and the control panel can be incorporated into a landing door.
Can the material used for the shop floor be fitted in the lift too?
Yes it can, as long as the floor complies with the maximum thickness required (15 mm for the MANGUSTA lift, 10 mm for the MINIWATT lift, 20 mm for the ZEN lift)
Can a lift also be installed if the space available is limited?
Yes, our technical department can design customised solutions that meet installation requirements even in environments with limited space.
Is the power used by your lifts on a par with what is needed for an everyday electrical appliance?
Yes, because our MANGUSTA and MINIWATT lifts use just 130W** of power whereas the ZEN-0 lift uses only 300W.* The power used by a microwave oven is more than this (700W).
* In switch mode the power used is 1200W and 1500W during rapid recharging. These values refer to a system with a load capacity of 450kg at a speed of 0.15m/s
**In countries outside the EU the power used is 230W
What happens in the event of a power failure (blackout)?
Batteries are the main power supply system used on our lifts. So our lifts can continue to be used even in the event of a sudden power failure, so accessibility and safety are guaranteed at all times.
Are your lifts silent?
Yes, all our lifts feature soft arrivals and departures. The silence achieved by our ARE SMART-POWER technology gives lift passengers a pleasant sensation of comfort throughout every run.
Can a home lift fit into the domestic environment from an aesthetic point of view too?
Certainly! The vast range of materials and finishes available for the cabin walls and floors offers multiple customisation options. You can also choose different automatic or hinged door models to adapt the lift to the context in which it will be installed.
How many cabin models can I choose from?
You can choose between two cabin models:
- Monolith which has an elegant, sober design
- Elegant that has an elegant, cutting-edge design
- Download our MANGUSTA and ZEN-0 brochures to view all these features in detail
What are the benefits of your electronic load weighing system?
Normally, the electronics for reading the load sensor are positioned on the cabin roof, so that is where the calibration procedure has to be conducted. This means the technician has to take care not to include their own weight in the measurements. It also means that for any information about the weight in the cabin you always have to climb onto the roof. In our system, on the other hand, the load sensor reading electronics are still positioned on the cabin roof, but they are connected to the control panel. So, all operations (calibrations, cabin weight readings, fault diagnoses etc.) are carried out from our Smart-Chopper board, i.e. the control panel.
