ARE SMART-POWER is the name given to the innovative, patented technology with numerous energy efficiency benefits we use to power our lifts.

Recharging lift batteries using solar energy or energy produced while the lift is working, and guaranteeing accessibility and safety even in the event of a blackout are the key focuses of the technological innovation and commitment to research embodied in our ARE SMART POWER system.

Energy recovery
The more you use it, the more energy you store
The energy produced during the normal use of our lifts is not wasted as heat, but stored in batteries for use in subsequent runs. This reduces national power grid consumption costs.
Anti-blackout system
Always working, always safe.
Batteries are the main power supply system used on our lifts. This allows our lift to continue to operate even in the event of a sudden power failure, so accessibility and safety are guaranteed at all times.* * With charged batteries and under optimal usage conditions, up to 60 runs can be made with the Mangusta and Miniwatt lifts and up to 40 runs with the ZEN-0 lift.
Low energy consumption, maximum power
Like a household appliance
Thanks to ARE SMART POWER technology, the maximum power used by our lifts is comparable to, if not lower than, many household appliances. For example, the power used by the MANGUSTA and MINIWATT home lifts is only 130W, less than that of an electric or microwave oven. The comparison also applies to the unique ZEN-0 electric lift, which uses only 300W.* *In Switch manoeuvring, 1200W of power are used and with rapid recharging 1500W – reference values measured on a system with a load-bearing capacity of 450KG and a speed of 0.15 m/s)

    Recharging home lift batteries with photovoltaics

    SOL-ARE® is the new technological innovation patented by ARE that optimises lift battery recharging with photovoltaic panels that harness solar energy.

    Patented technology

    SOL-ARE® technology has 3 operating modes that the user can set on an hourly basis throughout the day, according to their needs and run frequency. When the energy provided by the photovoltaic panel is insufficient, the system manages battery recharging by automatically taking the energy required from the national grid.

    SOL-ARE® has 3 operating modes that can be set by the user on an hourly basis throughout the day. This manages battery recharging in a smart way by automatically changing the set recharging mode if the frequency of lift use requires it.
    Eco-Full
    for use during moderate traffic hours
    Eco-Hybrid
    for use during heavy traffic hours
    Eco-Night
    for use during night-time hours with little or no traffic

    Energy Saving
    The system automatically selects the ideal energy source (grid or photovoltaic panel) in order to minimize the amount of energy drawn from the grid, right down to a consumption level of ZERO.

    Automatic electrical power management
    The system decides the amount of current to draw from the national grid autonomously, in compliance with the parameters defined for minimum and maximum power.

    Hourly programming
    Programming recharging on an hourly basis allows you to adapt your recharging strategy to your daily lift use and minimise consumption from the national grid.

    Environmental sustainability
    Integrating a photovoltaic panel is environmentally friendly because it promotes the use of renewable energy sources.
    Your energy data in real time
    The power supplied by the photovoltaic panel and the power drawn from the national grid can be monitored in real time by viewing the data on the DISPLAY SMART PLUS.
